I received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas and a Masters of Education from the University of Texas at Tyler. I have presently taught Language Arts for 18 years. My husband of 24 years is Scott Floyd who is White Oak ISD’s Chief of Technology. We have an intelligent and compassionate son named Christian who is in the 10th grade, and a bright and beautiful kindergartener girl named Alexis. We also have a loving border collie named Jessie Clover and an ornery cat named Booger.
My hobbies include camping, hiking, and snow skiing with my family. I also enjoy bible study, reading, and scrapbooking.
I am very excited about this school year. Getting to know my students and their families is a special gift I receive apart of God’s call to teaching.
